Q1: Can I use the BBQ Guard on any barbecue?

Yes and No. The BBQ Guard is designed specifically to work on regular household barbecue (30000BTU or more) where the tank is located under the barbecue. The BBQ Guard will not work with portable barbecues, tent trailers, RV, propane fridges, propane heaters. See also response R2 above.
